Why scrolling capture is difficult
A long page is not always one stable image waiting to be saved.
Sticky headers, lazy-loaded sections, animations, virtualised lists, repeated backgrounds, protected surfaces, and application-specific scrolling can all change while content is being captured and stitched. A result can look plausible while still omitting or duplicating information.
For business evidence, a clear partial result is safer than an unverified image presented as complete.

Compatible full-page browser capture can preserve content beyond the current viewport. The browser still loads the target page normally.
Desktop applications
Scrolling behaviour and capture permissions vary. Some applications may need segmented captures or may only produce a partial result.
Dynamic and virtualised content
Lists that recycle rows or pages that change while scrolling require especially careful review and may not support a reliable single image.

Keep long-page evidence useful to the next person.

If a virtualised list, protected surface, animation, or application-specific control prevents a trustworthy full capture, several ordered screenshots can be clearer than one questionable composite. The recipient needs dependable context more than a single unusually tall image.

Can Bundlepix capture an entire web page on Windows?
Bundlepix supports full-page capture for compatible pages in Chrome and Edge. Dynamic, virtualised, protected, or unusually structured content can affect completeness, so important captures should be reviewed.
Can it capture every scrolling desktop application?
No tool can guarantee identical scrolling behaviour across every Windows application. Bundlepix supports compatible contexts and identifies a result as partial when it cannot verify a complete capture.
What does a partial scrolling capture mean?
It means Bundlepix could not verify that the entire scrollable surface was captured correctly. The user must knowingly review and save that result rather than Bundlepix silently treating it as complete.
Can a long screenshot be exported to Word, PDF, or Excel?
Yes. Reviewed supported scrolling captures can be included in DOCX, PDF, or XLSX document exports.
Does browser capture send the screenshot to Bundlepix?
No. The optional browser-control path runs over localhost. Chrome or Edge still makes its normal network requests to load the page being captured, but Bundlepix does not upload the resulting evidence to a Bundlepix cloud service.
